Steve Osborne has maintained a prolific output throughout his vast, genre-spanning career. After a start in London’s Trident Studios, Steve soon joined forces with Paul Oakenfold, forming the PERFECTO partnership. Together they became one of the most legendary remix teams of the exploding 90’s club scene, working with the likes of MASSIVE ATTACK and U2, as well as writing and producing tracks like the colossal club anthem Not Over Yet. Their remix of the HAPPY MONDAYS track Wrote For Luck was the catalyst for indie bands to begin crossing into the club scene, and led to the pair producing the critically-acclaimed Pills ‘n’ Thrills And Bellyaches LP.

Having worked in the club scene for some time, Steve returned to the studio alone to record and produce bands such as ELBOW, DOVES, SUEDE, PLACEBO and U2. He also produced two albums for KT TUNSTALL, the Mercury-nominated Eye To The Telescope and Drastic Fantastic. Both records were well received, reaching the Top 10 in the UK album charts.

With his own studio set up in the world-renowned Real World complex, Steve has been working closely with a number of exciting young artists, including HAARM, JORDAN ALLEN and THE HOWL AND THE HUM. He created a multitude of radio mixes for the likes of MELODY GARDOT, KANDACE SPRINGS, and GREGORY PORTER, which have been firm favourites on BBC Radio 2. Last year Steve produced and mixed the follow-up album to CAT’S EYES highly-praised debut, the equally acclaimed Treasure House, following his work on their Ivor Novello-nominated OST for The Duke Of Burgundy, which also won the European Film Academy award for European Composer in 2015.
