Having learned from engineering for some of the very best UK producers including Steve Osborne, Paul Corkett, Gil Norton, Flood and John Leckie on a wide variety of projects including PIXIES, B 52s, BIFFY CLYRO, MAXIMO PARK, MASSIVE ATTACK, AFI, THE CORAL (to name just a few) but he was quickly noticed because of his energy and ability by artists including THE COOPER TEMPLE CLAUSE, and OCEANSIZE who sought him out for his first solo production opportunities.

Dan is a professional that people keep coming back to. His relationship with UK band DOVES spans 15 years beginning with him engineering ‘ Some Cities' in 2004, co- producing and mixing 'Kingdom Of Rust’ and producing and mixing their no 1 hit ‘ Universal Want’ as well as JIMMY GOODWIN'’s debut solo offering ‘Odludek’.

Alongside other artists including MALLORY KNOX, TWIN ATLANTIC and PRETTY VICIOUS who have all enjoyed long term relationships with him, he worked on four albums with YOUMEATSIX - engineering and mixing their 2012 album 'The Swarm’, producing their 2018 album ‘ VI’, their no1 album of 2022 ‘ Suckapunch’ as well as their upcoming 4th album ’Truth Decay’.
